Sterilization Process
The pattern on the B-D test paper will turn into a uniform dark brown to black when the sterilizer operates at 132℃ ~134℃ for 3.5 minutes. If the cold air is not completely expelled, the cold air inside the package will affect the penetration of the steam, resulting in a lighter-colored area in the center of the B-D test paper that is different from the surrounding areas.
Notes for Attention
- The test patterns inside the BD test kit must not come into contact with acidic or alkaline substances during storage and use.
- Avoid moisture (relative humidity should be less than 50%), store away from light, and protect from ultraviolet fluorescent lamps and sunlight.
- The test shall be conducted under steam conditions at 132~134℃ for no more than 4 minutes. The test shall be conducted in an empty autoclave before the first sterilization of the day.
- This product cannot be used to test the effectiveness of pressure steam sterilization.
